Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Best Safari Adventure Canada Incorporated, we understand that plans may change. We strive to offer flexible and transparent cancellation terms while honoring our commitments with accommodation providers, airlines, and park authorities across Africa. This policy outlines the conditions under which you may cancel your safari and how refunds are handled.

1. Cancellation by the Client.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to your safari consultant. The date we receive your written notice determines the applicable cancellation fees:

Note: The deposit paid at booking is non-refundable, as it is used to secure critical elements such as lodge bookings, park permits, and flights.

2. Non-Refundable Items.

Some costs cannot be recovered, regardless of cancellation notice:

  • Gorilla or chimpanzee permits.

  • Non-refundable airline tickets.

  • Park entry fees already paid.

  • Bank or card processing fees.

3. Trip Rescheduling (Postponement).

We allow one-time rescheduling if notified at least 30 days before departure. New travel dates must be within 12 months of the original departure. Rate differences and third-party change fees may apply.

4. Cancellations Due to Force Majeure.

In cases of events beyond our control (e.g. pandemics, political unrest, natural disasters), we aim to offer flexible rescheduling or partial refunds, depending on what our partners allow.

5. Refund Processing.

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 30 business days of written confirmation. Transaction fees are non-refundable.

6. Cancellation by Best Safari Adventure Canada Inc.

We reserve the right to cancel a safari in exceptional circumstances (e.g. unsafe conditions, unavailability of critical services). In such cases, clients will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
